Overall we had a really comfortable stay and would definitely recommend.

The parking wasn’t an issue either as Tom’s instructions were really clear and we found plenty of street parking.
The area itself is so lovely - There’s some nice cafes/restaurants in the town, and Chatsworth House was only 10 minutes away which is where we spent one of the days.
This cottage is such a little gem and we will definitely stay here again if we want to revisit Bakewell in the future! 😊

  This is a lovely little cottage on 2 floors well back from the main road, and so it's quiet. It's handy for the bus and the centre of town. We... read more were there for the walking and there are lovely walks from the front door, as well as a good bus service for getting further afield.
Tom left us brownies ( sadly I couldn't eat mine as I'm a coeliac) but the thought was there, and he provided an extra sheet under the duvet as I requested.
This is an excellent place to stay and I recommend it.
